Everyone needs one of these gorgeous Flatout bears!
Comforters are an important sleep tool, particularly in the transition to independent sleep
As your baby gets older, having something (other than you!) that they associate with going to sleep is fundamental in helping them build their sleep skills.
Your baby may not take to their comforter straight away so it can be useful to introduce it during times of soothing, such as feeding. Put it in your baby’s hand or on your chest as you feed and allow your baby to start associating it with times when they are calm and happy.
Once your baby has bonded with their comforter, try as much as you can to keep it in their cot or bed. This is to maintain its potency as a sleep association and it not become just another toy!
